Architectural Design on your Doorstep

Julie Richards is delighted to announce the opening of her architectural design practice in Southwell. Having recently relocated from London, Julie brings with her a wealth of experience in both commercial and residential projects.

Operating since 2002 in London, the practice has worked on a diverse number of projects ranging from interior design, to architecture and urban planning.

“After many years in London, I am really excited to now be able to use my skills in a different way on more rural and listed buildings in the local area,” explained Julie.
“Our objective is to provide the highest possible standards of design on every project undertaken. Our role is to lead the client from the initial conceptual idea to the final details of the spatial proposal, encompassing lighting and furniture design and the specification of material finishes.

“In all of my projects, I like to search for the essential elements of architecture; to return to the starting point of any space in order to arrive at the essence of architecture through a minimum of gestures. We explore minimalism by reducing the creative process to the basic concepts of light, volume and mass; resulting in a clear, intense perception of space.
