Annual Music Bursaries

Southwell Choral Society is currently inviting applications for its annual Choral and Music bursaries.

Two bursaries, the Southwell Choral Society Bursary and The Peggy Oldham Award, of £300 each, are available, either separately or as a combined award. Their purpose is to support the development of the musical career of the successful applicant(s).

Applications are invited from vocalists and instrumentalists in any musical genre. The award may be used to finance tuition and travel, or the purchase of books or equipment. Where practicable, successful applicant(s) will be invited to take part in future events promoted by Southwell Choral Society.

Applicants should be under the age of 25 by 1st September 2014, and live within a 10-mile radius of Southwell Minster.
