And They’re Off at Southwell Racecourse!

Happy New Year from everyone at Southwell Racecourse. The Festive period is always a busy one with fixtures on both 22nd and 29th of December and 1st and 3rd January. Before that, the course hosted their first ever Gentlemen’s Day on Sunday 17th December, which was a big success with a large crowd attending this newly themed day.

The fixtures show no sign of letting up through the early part of 2018 with nine fixtures in January, six in February and then another eight in March.

Feature Racedays

2018 brings together a blend of regular fixtures together with some of Southwell’s more familiar feature racedays including Nottinghamshire Sports Day on August Bank Holiday Monday 27th together with the ever popular Ladies Day, which attracted a record crowd for the racecourse in 2017, returning on Sunday 19th August. The Family Fun Day takes place on 15th July and the Easter Sunday Fun Day on 1st April.
